TL;DR — 30 SECOND ANSWER
5★ rate is 1.5% per pull with a hard pity at 70 pulls, tracked separately on each of the 9 banners. Shinies are 1/100 per pull. Use the calculator to see your real odds before spending tickets.
PokéSurvivor's gacha is where you unlock most of the 966 Pokémon: you spend tickets (earned by playing) on one of 9 region banners — Kanto through Paldea. Enter your current pity and planned pulls below to get your exact odds.

Pity is tracked per banner — these numbers assume you stay on the same banner. Switching banners starts from that banner's own counter.
Pull rates, verified from the source code
| Rarity | Per-pull rate | Duplicate refund (Pokémonedas) |
|---|---|---|
| 1★ Common | 45% | 15 |
| 2★ Uncommon | 30% | 30 |
| 3★ Rare | 17% | 60 |
| 4★ Epic | 6.5% | 120 |
| 5★ Legendary | 1.5% | 300 |
Duplicates convert to Pokémonedas automatically — and a duplicate shiny refunds triple the coins of a normal one.
The two guarantees
- ×10 pulls: if the first nine slots contain no 4★ or better, the tenth is forced to be at least 4★ (81.25% chance 4★, 18.75% chance 5★ on that slot). Every ×10 pull therefore contains at least one Epic or Legendary.
- Hard pity at 70: the pull that takes a banner's counter to 70 without a 5★ is a guaranteed Legendary. Any 5★ — lucky or pity — resets that banner's counter to zero.
Pity is per-banner
Each of the 9 banners (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Teselia, Kalos, Alola, Galar, Paldea) keeps its own pity counter. Pulling 60 times on Kanto does nothing for your Paldea pity — so pick one banner and stay on it until the Legendary drops.
Shiny odds in the gacha
Every pull has a 1/100 chance to come out shiny — roughly 41× more generous than the 1/4096 wild shiny rate. If you roll a shiny you already own, the game re-picks a Pokémon of the same rarity whose shiny you're missing; only when you own every shiny in that pool does it fall back to a normal version.
What pulls cost
A single pull costs 1 ticket; a ×10 pull costs 10 normal tickets or one special ×10 ticket. Tickets are earned through gameplay — there is no real-money shop, which fits the game's free, non-profit fan-project status.
