PokéSurvivor Co-op Guide
Group games for up to 4 friends — how it works and what to know.

TL;DR — 30 SECOND ANSWER
Co-op is online-only at the official site: make a free account, add friends, start a group game. Browsers connect directly — only play with people you know.
Co-op basics
PokéSurvivor supports online co-op for up to 4 players. Group games are an online feature, so they require playing at the official site — the offline itch.io build is solo only.
What you need
- Each player needs a free account (or sign in with Google) — co-op uses your profile, nickname and friends list
- Add each other as friends; your nickname is what teammates and the leaderboard see
- Start a group game and invite your friends
Privacy note (from the game's own policy)
Group games connect your browser directly to your teammates' browsers — like a video call — so each of you may be able to see the others' IP address. If a direct connection isn't possible, traffic goes through the game's servers.
Only play group games with people you know.
Squad tips
- Split enemy duties: agree who hunts healers and who clears exploders — personality enemies punish uncoordinated squads
- Diversify partners: with per-Pokémon upgrades, four different mains give better coverage than four copies
- Share map objectives: call out rifts, chests, altars and springs so the group routes efficiently between waves
- Shiny hunting together: at 1/4096 (wild), more eyes on the field means more shiny callouts
